TBWC - Welcome!

Tillamook Bay Watershed Council was formed to help the community improve, maintain and protect watershed health, foster better stewardship and understanding of the Tillamook Bay Watershed, deal with issues in advance of degradation of the watershed and its resources, and promote and implement on-the-ground projects which ensure sustainable watershed health functions and issues.

Who We Are:

The Tillamook Bay Watershed boasts breathtaking natural beauty with healthy fish and wildlife, a thriving dairy industry, and communities with a proud pioneer tradition. The Tillamook Bay Watershed Council strives to help its stakeholders work together to restore clean water, healthy fish populations, and strong communities. We combine restoration and community involvement and our hope is that the Council becomes the Go To organization for community members who want to have a positive impact on watershed health.

The Council works with interest groups, stakeholders, and the community at large in the following ways:
1) within the Council, through the process of developing the work plan and overseeing projects;
2) partnering on projects with other entities and organizations;
3) sharing watershed information with landowners; and
4) reaching out to the community through public involvement activities.

Our Mission: Help to improve, maintain, and protect watershed health foster better stewardship and understanding of the Tillamook Bay Watershed. Deal with issues in advance of degradation of the watershed and it’s resources, and ensure sustainable watershed health.
